Bog Filter

A compact and efficient biological filtration box designed to provide natural-style pond filtration in a much smaller space than a traditional bog filter.

Water enters the filter through the bottom and slowly passes through the biological filter media, where beneficial bacteria colonize the media and help break down organic waste and harmful compounds. The filtered water then rises to the top and returns to the pond through the wide waterfall outlet, providing additional aeration and creating an attractive natural waterfall.

The filter can be filled with suitable biological media according to the specific filtration requirements of the pond.

For easy maintenance, two drainage outlets are located at the bottom of the filter. These allow accumulated dirt and sediment to be flushed out periodically without having to remove the filter media.

The result is a compact biological filtration system that combines effective water treatment with a beautiful waterfall return, while requiring significantly less space than a traditional planted bog filter.
