The moving bed biofilm reactor (MBBR) is an innovative water treatment system used in aquariums, ponds, and fish farms. It combines biological and mechanical filtration to achieve high water quality.
The core component of the MBBR is the floating carriers, which provide a large surface area for biofilm growth. Bacteria residing on the carriers break down ammonia, nitrites, and other harmful substances, transforming them into less harmful compounds like nitrates.

Automatic addition of water to the system – the set includes a float tap that supplies water if the water level drops below the one you set.
